Applications Support Specialist
Skills: Windows XP, End-user support, troubleshooting, documentation
Job Description:
To ensure the overall operations and maintenance of business application systems and provide end-user support of business applications utilized by the organization. Applications supported include Blackbaud’s Financial Edge, Tessitura Ticketing and Fund Raising System, Micros POS, Artisan POS and other systems which may be implemented.
Duties:
- Perform hands-on user support including solving problems with applications, installing and upgrading software and configuring systems and applications
- Solve helpdesk requests for multiple applications and track all requests through the IS Helpdesk system
- Prioritize and schedule tasks
- Escalate problems to vendor support staff when required
Requirements:
Requires an Associates degree or equivalent experience
Two years experience with end-user support
Experience writing custom reports with Crystal Reports or other report writer
Experience supporting multiple users and on-line transaction systems
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with and communicate with non technical staff
Salary:
Low 30’s
